Ingredients:
- 1 10 oz. can pizza dough crust
- 3 cups chicken breast (shredded and cooked)
- 2/3 cup cannabis BBQ sauce (see recipe)
- 1/2 sweet onion (chopped)
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 380 degrees Fahrenheit, while frying the bacon in a large pan over medium heat. Cook bacon until crisp. Drain the bacon on paper towels and crumble it into pieces. Now add the shredded chicken, along with the onion, to the bacon grease in the pan. Fry about 5 – 8 minutes, or until onion is cooked but not soggy. Stir in 1/3 of the 2/3 cup of BBQ sauce, as well as the crumbled bacon. Now roll the pizza dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Make sure the thickness is even, then proceed to cut the dough in half. Now get the chicken mix from the frying pan and place it between the two halves, ensuring that you leave at least 3/4″ of space along the edge. Pour the last 1/3 cup of BBQ sauce over the chicken and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top. Take the other half of the dough and press it onto the half with the chicken mixture. It may be necessary to use a butter knife to press the dough together. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until just golden brown. Then cut each calzone in half. You should have 4 calzones for a total of 4 servings. Enjoy!
