• 2 cups cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup cannabis virgin olive oil
  • 1.75 cups flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup coffee (brewed much stronger than you would want for drinking)
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and proceed to butter and flour two 9″ round cake pans or one 9 X 13 cake pan. Get out a large mixing bowl and add the dry ingredients to it, making a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the eggs, buttermilk, coffee, cannabis olive oil and vanilla, beating either by hand or with an electric mixer until the batter is fairly thin. Bake in the center rack of the oven for 30 to 40 minutes. The cake(s) will be done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 15 minutes on a wire rack before frosting. Chocolate or fudge frosting goes exceptionally well with this cake.
